Soldiers who desire to take his or her operational and technical skills to a higher level should consider becoming an Army Reserve Warrant Officer.
The warrant officer is the highly specialized expert and trainer who, by gaining progressive levels of expertise and leadership, operates, maintains, administers, and manages the Army’s equipment, support activities, or technical systems for an entire career. As leaders and technical experts, they provide valuable skills, guidance, and expertise to commanders and organizations in their particular field.

that if Army Reserve Careers Division (ARCD) receives your packet (s) by the Recommended
arrival to ARCD date, that it will be boarded for the next
month board. This date ensures that ARCD has time to
process your packet (s) to proponents including the
processing of any waivers. Arrival of packets after the
Recommended Arrival to ARCD date will be processed; however,
no guarantee will be made when ARCD will start processing
them. This Board schedule does not
include special boards i.e.: 670A, 640A, , 420C, 270A.
